Last October, Expansion Managment Magazine named Fayetteville, Arkansas the 12th ranked small metro in the nation for business attraction.  This study by Expansion Management focused on the relocation and expansion patterns of over 19 million companies over the last four years.

Fayetteville is recognised because of its attitude toward new business, the growth of new jobs and new companies, and the quality of jobs and businesses being created.  Major businesses such as the Wal-Mart headquarters (expand list) have attracted many other business to the Fayetteville area.

Fayetteville is also one of the fastest growing areas in the nation for sustainable “green” companies.  With the concern and interest in green business practices increasing, this type of business model is only going to get stronger.
