Economic development news for Kansas City covering recent months includes:

MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc., chose to locate their Midwest distribution center in Kansas City.  It will lease a facility within the KC Animal Health Corridor.  The new center will add 30 new jobs.

Staples is opening three new stores in the Kansas City area.  The first store is scheduled to open on May 3.  Staples stores typically employ around 30 people.

Molson Coors Brewing Co. and SABMiller are looking for a new home after the companies merge later this year.  Kansas City is being considered as the site for the 100,000 square foot office.
