This has been sitting in our must post stack for a bit.  Commercial Property News published an interview with Roger Staubach in their January 2008 issue – the title of the piece was “On Winning and Leadership:  Roger Staubach’s Game Plan”. 

Staubach, perhaps best know for his decade of championship level play as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, was also a Heisman Trophy winning Naval Academy graduate, and has directed a tremendously successful real estate services company after he retired from professional football. 

The article is a must read, and you should be able to pull off their website archives.

We particularly like this quote we pulled from Staubach’s response to a question about surmounting challenges – “hard work produces confidence, and confidence allows you to perform at the highest level that you can perform at no matter what you’re doing”.

Good advice for any endeavor.
