Economic development news from Providence covering recent months include:

Concordia Manufacturing, LLC recently announced plans to expand their operation in Warwick.  The company, which manufactures medical equipment, will be hiring 10-15 new employees in the next year.

Kelly Space & Technology, Inc., a California company focusing on aerospace, energy and homeland security technologies, is opening an operation in Rhode Island.  The company plans to use this East Coast location to focus on using their technologies in watercraft applications.  The move will create about 50 jobs over the next year.

Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company, is expanding their operation in Rhode Island.  The new manufacturing facility should be in operation by the second quarter of 2008.
