Economic development updates for Syracuse during recent months include:

BITZER Scroll, a manufacturer of air conditioning and refrigeration compressors, recently announced plans to open a manufacturing facility in Syracuse.  The company will renovate and use a former General Motors facility in the town of Salina, just outside Syracuse.  The move will create almost 300 new jobs for the area.
