Economic development updates for Fort Worth covering recent months include:

Hilite International Inc. plans to hire an additional 90 workers this year.  This expansion will bring the companies work force up to 250 employees.

Taiwan-based manufacturer Fong Kai Industrial Co. Ltd. is opening a new plant in Carrollton.  The company will hire 30 to 40 new people in the next year.  The plant should be operating in June 2008.

Daimler Financial Services is expanding its facility in Westlake.  The company is hiring an additional 60 employees, bringing their workforce to 710 people.
