Economic development updates for Tucson covering recent months include:

Texas Instruments Inc. is moving their facility in Tucson to a new location within the city.  The company has been in the area since 2000, and has signed a long term lease for 10,000 square feet at their new location.

Schletter Inc., a Germany-based manufacturer and distributor or solar mounting systems, has chosen Tucson as the location for their first U.S. operation.  The new facility will design, develop and manufacture the company’s products.  Over 40 new jobs could be created by the end of 2009.
