Economic development updates for Baton Rouge covering recent months include:

Edison Chouest Offshore is expanding their shipyard at the Port of Terrebonne.  The company will use the expansion to construct deepwater oil and gas industry support ships.  Over 1,000 new jobs will be created for the area.
