Economic development updates for Lubbock covering recent months include:
Yellowhouse Machinery Co., a regional construction equipment dealership, recently began construction on a new facility that is double their current size. The company plans to expand their workforce before the year’s end.
United Supermarkets is building an ice-making facility in Lubbock. This new facility will service the store’s entire chain and will produce 5 million pounds of ice during peak selling periods. Up to 30 new jobs will be created.
Tyler Technologies, Inc. recently announced plans to build a new office in Lubbock. The new facility will eventually consist of two three-story office buildings, the first of which will hold up to 350 employees. Construction is slated to start in September.
