Economic development updates for Columbia covering recent months include:

Strategic Resource Company, which specializes in creating medical plans, recently expanded their office and headquarters campus near Columbia.  Over 40 new corporate office jobs will be created, with another 60 new jobs expected soon.

FPL Food LLC recently moved to a new location in Lexington County, outside Columbia.  Over 100 new jobs were created.  The new plant will process beef through a grinding process for use in restaurant and retail sectors.
