Economic development updates for Wichita covering recent months include:

Wichita was recently ranked second in the nation by Forbes.com in their report “Best Cities for Jobs 2008”.  Five different factors were considered: the state’s unemployment rate, job growth, median household income and cost of living for full-year 2006.  Wichita was only slightly behind Salt Lake City, Utah, which ranked number one.
