Recent economic development and business news updates from Charlotte include announcement last week that Cefla America, part of Italy’s Cefla Group, plans to establish its North American headquarters in Huntersville.  The office will employ 90 at opening and will invest $16 million in its office structures and equipment.

US Airways’ Association of Flight Attendants has chosen Charlotte for their headquarters and Field Office.  The group represents over 55,000 attendants, and will move their offices in mid-August from Pittsburg. 

South Korean based Doosan Infracore International is in the process of establishing their international headquarters in Charlotte; the group will initially employ over 100, and the group’s proforma sales should be in the range of $7.5 billion annually.
