Economic development updates for Oklahoma City covering recent months include:

AAA recently broke ground on a new Operations Center in Oklahoma City.  The new 147,000 square foot center is scheduled for completion in late 2009.  Oklahoma City was chosen after a multiple state search by AAA.  The new center will create 825 new jobs and will serve customers in several states.

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts opened a Shared Service Center earlier this year in Moore.  The center will provide customer accounting and internal payroll services for 217 North American Hyatt hotels and resorts.  Over 100 new jobs will be created by the end of the year, with 200 more anticipated over the next several years.
