Economic development updates for Omaha covering recent months include:

Novozymes, a biotechnology firm, is locating a production facility in Blair, 25 miles north of Omaha.  The plant will produce enzymes for corn based ethanol and later enzymes for cellulosic ethanol production.  Over 100 new jobs will be created when the facility opens in 2010.
