Economic development updates for Biloxi covering recent months include:

The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport recently underwent a massive period of renovation and expansion.  The airport’s capacity was doubled by the expansions.  A new, larger, parking garage is also scheduled to be completed in November. 

A new cargo facility was recently completed at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.  The 46,000 square foot facility includes cargo sorting and distribution space, office space and a chiller area for items requiring a cool environment.  Fifteen new jobs were created when the facility opened, but that number will grow to over 60 in coming months as business increases.
