Economic development updates for Macon covering recent months include:

Kumho Tires, a leading tire manufacturer, recently began construction on a new facility in Macon.  The new facility will be the Korea –based company’s first plant in the United States.  When it becomes fully operations in late 2009, the facility will create up to 400 new jobs.
