I had the pleasure of meeting with a group of investors from out of town yesterday to discuss the potential of a local project.  To make a long story short, they are part of a larger investor group from Salt Lake City, and asked me to fly back with them to present some information today to their larger partner group meeting this afternoon. 

They’re very active multifamily investors who have raised considerable cash in a blind pool type structure, and are looking for emerging / recovering multifamily markets around the country.  It’s the opinion of this group that well structured multifamily investments in the right market are doing very well, and have great potential given the economic and housing climate today. 

The point – savvy investors are indeed quite active today, and see great potential in the right kind of market. 

I’ll provide an update of issues discussed (with permission) later today or tomorrow morning.
