Economic development updates for Corpus Christi covering recent months include:

Renovations are scheduled to begin soon on a power plant that closed two years ago.  The Lon C. Hill Power Plant will receive $125 million in renovations and improvements before becoming operational in early 2011.  The construction phase will employ over 300 workers, and over 20 permanent jobs will be created by the plant.
