Economic development updates for Little Rock covering recent months include:

India-based pipe manufacturer Man Industries is building a manufacturing plant in Little Rock.  The facility will also serve as the company’s headquarters for the Western Hemisphere.  Up to 300,000 tons of pipes will be produced annually, mainly to service to oil industry.  The facility will employ over 250 workers when it becomes operational early next year.

LM Glasfiber, a wind turbine blade manufacturer, recently opened a new production facility and regional headquarters in Little Rock.  The facility will handle production of even the largest blades.  The company’s North American production will be doubled once the new facility reaches peak capacity.  Over 630 jobs have already been created, and up to 400 more will be added over the next five years.
