Economic development updates for Portland covering recent months include:

Macsteel is opening a new facility in Portland.  The new 100,000 facility is scheduled to open this spring.  It will process and stock carbon, stainless and aluminum beams for the metal products industry.  The facility could expand to offer more products and services in the future.  Customers in Oregon, Washington and Idaho will be served from the new facility.
