2008 was a banner year for the Chicago business. An impressive list of companies either moved to the area or expanded already established operations. Among the companies was MillerCoors, which will employ up to 400 people at its new corporate headquarters. Aviva, the 5th largest insurance company in the world, chose Chicago as the location for its new North American executive offices. Rather than moving to Mexico, Tempel Steel decided to expand their plant, creating 350 new jobs in the process.
