Economic development updates for Indianapolis covering recent months include:

Iwis Drive Systems LLC is expanding their headquarters in Indianapolis.  The new 60,000 square foot facility will manufacture chains, sprocket wheels and accessories.  These products are used in agricultural and industrial equipment.  Over 40 new jobs will be created.

Contract trucking firm Perkins Specialized Transportation is expanding their operation in nearby Noblesville.  The company will spend almost $15 million to improve their headquarters.  Over 20 new jobs will be added throughout 2009.
